We braced the cold, winter weather and had a ton of fun! We met down at the construction site for the new Northlake Tiny House Village in Seattle. This site is expected to accommodate 22 Tiny Houses, a community kitchen, showers, bathrooms and onsite laundry. LIHI (Low Income Housing Institute) provides the opportunity for homeless individuals to get back onto their feet. The Tiny houses come fully furnished with beds, and other amenities, including heat for the year round chilly weather. This is one of the many locations that LIHI has developed from the ground up, providing shelter for the less fortunate. A majority of their help comes from Volunteers, and it is an organization we are proud to support! Take a look at some of the fun we had doing this project!
